FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (Jan. 11, 2024) – The new Titleist TruFeel, the next generation of the softest Titleist golf ball, is designed to provide long distance and increased greenside spin and control – with an ultra-soft feel on every shot – through advanced core and cover technologies:
- New TruTouch core combines long distance and fast ball speeds with a very soft feel off the club face.
- TruFit aerodynamics give golfers a penetrating, low ball flight and long distance from a unique, spherically tiled 376 tetrahedral dimple design.
“TruFeel has always been a very soft and very long golf ball, and those are important performance attributes to the TruFeel player,” said Jeremy Stone, Vice President, Titleist Golf Ball Marketing. “With the newest generation of TruFeel, golfers are going to find an even better performing golf ball that maintains its feel and profile along with the ball-to-ball quality and consistency expected from every Titleist model.”
New to TruFeel is a thicker, softer 3.0 TruFlex cover that increases greenside spin, while working in combination with a new, reformulated TruTouch core to provide long distance with Titleist’s softest feel.
Across the entire Titleist golf ball family, each golf ball model has its own unique dimple pattern to optimize aerodynamics and flight for its respective construction. TruFeel’s 376 tetrahedral dimple pattern delivers the penetrating flight and total distance that TruFeel players count on.
“With new TruFeel, our goal was to keep what people love about the product and deliver even more performance in the short game,” said Mike Madson, Vice President, Titleist Golf Ball R&D. “That softer, thicker cover is going to give golfers a little more greenside spin and performance. The reformulated core gives players long distance and soft feel. And with TruFeel being a Titleist product, it gets the same focus and attention from a manufacturing standpoint as every other ball in our lineup. TruFeel enjoys a loyal following because of its quality, consistency and continuous improvement.”
Every TruFeel golf ball is made by Titleist associates at Titleist owned and operated Ball Plant 2 in North Dartmouth, Mass., ensuring consistency in performance, quality and feel.
New TruFeel golf balls (White) will be available in golf shops worldwide on February 3rd 2024. Yellow TruFeel will be available on March 2, 2024 with Matte Red available on June 1, 2024.
