During a year which consisted of 42 events across five different continents, more players put their trust in Titleist than any other brand.

2025 began with the introduction of the  all-new Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls  which were put into play immediately by some of the world’s best players.

Over 76%  of fields on the DP World Tour opted to trust in a Titleist golf ball model this season - up from 72% in 2024 and more than eight times the amount of the nearest competitor.

The quality of the product also translated into success with Titleist golf ball players earning 32 wins, a 20% increase year-over-year and one of the highest combined usage and win totals in the brand’s history on the Tour.

Some of these victories included Matt Fitzpatrick (Pro V1x) at the DP World Tour Championship, Richard Mansell (Pro V1) at the Porsche Singapore Classic and Michael Kim (Pro V1x) at the FedEx Open De France.

In the major championships, the OWGR #1 (Pro V1) added to his already impressive tally of titles with wins at the US PGA Championship and The Open Championship.

Over 41% of players opted to tee it up with a Titleist driver model during the season - marking a 4% year-over-year increase.

Titleist was also the most successful driver across the season, with a total of 14 wins. Victors included Grant Forrest (GT3) at the Nexo Championship, Dylan Naidoo (GT2) at the Investec South African Open and this year’s US Open champion (GT3) at Oakmont.

The brand continues to be the most played iron on the DP World Tour, trusted by Tour winners like Elvis Smylie (BMW Australian PGA Championship), Calum Hill (Joburg Open), Ryan Gerard (Barracuda Championship), Nicolai Von Dellingshausen (Austrian Alpine Open) and Jordan Smith, who secured a PGA Tour card through his final Race to Dubai standing.

Counts were also up versus 2024 with 36% of DP World Tour players putting their trust in Titleist irons during the season, further increasing its lead against the nearest competitor (20%).

The latest generation of Titleist T-Series irons debuted at the Soudal Open in May, where they gained immediate traction among Tour players.

“The biggest difference for me was with the longer irons, where the height and flight was noticeably better,” said the 2025 Joburg Open Champion Calum Hill.

“The strike has been a lot more consistent with the new irons. When you look up after completing the swing, the ball is in a completely new window to where it was before. It is really night and day compared to what I was used to.”

Titleist continues to lead the way in the wedge category with just under 50% of the wedges in play at DP World Tour events being  Vokey Design – the nearest competitor has 16%.

The Vokey brand also earned 20 wins throughout the season, with 13 of those victories coming from non-contracted players.

The top three players on the DP World Tour in Strokes Gained: Around the Green, all have had multiple Vokey SM10 wedges in play this season. The leader in Sand Save Percentage in 2025, Robert MacIntyre, also plays a set of four Vokey wedges.

Liam McDougall, Titleist Director Tour Promotions, said: “2024-25 ranks among the most successful seasons the Titleist brand has ever had on the DP World Tour.

“Witnessing more players opting to put Titleist product in the bag really showcases the momentum behind the brand as they look to get the most out of their equipment in order to compete across the globe at the very top level of the game.

“While we continue to dedicate our time and offer first class service to all our staff players week in, week out, it is extremely rewarding to receive an abundance of requests from non-contracted players, many of whom have achieved the top honours in the game, asking to work with the team and get dialled into Titleist product.

“I would like to use this opportunity to credit the Titleist R&D teams who continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with golf equipment design and manufacturing.

"I also want to recognise our Next Gen team, where we have seen outstanding counts and success in the elite amateur game this season, ensuring the next crop of talent are ready to climb the ranks and take their games to the next level with Titleist.”
