TITLEIST IS OVERWHELMING #1 BALL & MOST PLAYED DRIVER, IRON AND WEDGE FOR 2025 FEDEXCUP SEASON

From the first tee at Kapalua to the 18th green at East Lake, Titleist was the overwhelming #1 ball through the 39 events comprising the 2025 FedExCup season, with 72% of competitors (3,502) teeing up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x model, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 10% (464). 

That list includes the OWGR No. 1, who finished off another banner year with his 14th-consecutive top-10 at the TOUR Championship (T4) while playing his Pro V1 golf ball. He won five times in 2025, including the PGA Championship and The 153rd Open Championship, while leading the PGA TOUR in Strokes Gained Tee-to-Green, Off-the-Tee and Approach-the-Green. Each of his 18 PGA TOUR titles, along with his Olympic gold medal, has been won with Pro V1. 

With Sunday’s 68, the World No. 1 also posted his 21st consecutive round in the 60s, tying the record first set by Patrick Cantlay. Cantlay, who finished T2 this week at East Lake with his Pro V1x, led the field in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green (+5.164) and Strokes Gained: Approach (+6.068). 

Heading into this week’s TOUR Championship, Titleist golf ball players were atop all of the following major statistical categories:

Titleist has been the most played driver on the PGA TOUR for seven consecutive seasons, with more players and winners gaming Titleist drivers through this season’s FedExCup slate than any other brand. Thirty-nine percent (1,925) of drivers played this season on the PGA TOUR were Titleist, compared to 25% (1,220) for the nearest competitor. Aldrich Potgieter, the PGA TOUR’s leader in both Driving Distance and Ball Speed, plays a Titleist GT2. 

For the 12th season in a row, Titleist irons were the top choice of the world’s best, with 32% of players (1,643) gaming a set of Titleist irons through the TOUR Championship, more than double the nearest competitor at 15% (778). Russell Henley, who leads the PGA TOUR in Proximity to Hole, plays a set of Titleist T100 irons along with a NEW T250 4-iron. 

Fifty-five percent of the gap, sand and lob wedges played this season have been Vokey Design wedges, the most played wedges on the PGA TOUR since 2004. The 7,840 Vokeys in play over the 39 FedExCup events was more than four times the nearest competitor (1,599) and more than all competitors combined. 

Matteo Manassero, who leads the PGA TOUR in Strokes Gained: Around the Green and Scrambling, plays three Vokey SM10 wedges: 50.08F, 54.10S and WedgeWorks 58A+.

Michael Kim, who ranks 1st in Sand Save Percentage, also plays a set of three Vokey SM10’s: 52.12F, 56.14F and WedgeWorks 60L.
