Following the conclusion of the DP World Tour season last week in Dubai, Titleist was once again confirmed as the overwhelming #1 ball and most played driver, iron and wedge.

After a year which included 38 events across four different continents, more players put their faith in Titleist than any other brand.*

Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x continued to be trusted by the world’s best throughout the season with 72% of players opting to play the #1 ball in golf, six times more than its nearest competitor coming in at 12%.

Some of the winners across the season included Niklas Norgaard (Pro V1) earning his maiden Tour victory at the Betfred British Masters, Robert MacIntyre (Pro V1) winning on home soil at the Genesis Scottish Open and Matt Wallace (Pro V1x) triumphing in the Swiss Alps at the Omega European Masters.

There were also wins in the majors with the Masters champion gaming his Pro V1 to earn a second Green Jacket and the U.S Open champion trusting in his Pro V1x Left Dash to secure victory at Pinehurst No.2.

During the summer, Titleist introduced their all-new GT metals, the most advanced and best-performing drivers to ever bear the Titleist script.

GT was put immediately into play by the game’s best, continuing Titleist’s success as the most played driver model (37%) on the DP World Tour.

Winners included Julien Guerrier (GT2), at the Andalucía Masters, the champion of the BMW International Open (GT2) and Billy Horschel, who won the flagship event on the DP World Tour at the BMW PGA Championship, after relying on the fine-tuned performance of his GT3 driver.

“It feels more solid to me,” said Horschel.

“I know where the ball is better…Even the ones I missed, the dispersion is still tight. We haven’t lost anything. It’s faster, spin rate is more consistent.”

Titleist continues to be the most played iron on the DP World Tour, trusted by the likes of Norgaard, Antoine Rozner and Matteo Manassero who each secured PGA Tour cards through their final Race to Dubai standing.

Norgaard and Manassero both climbed from outside the top 300 to within the top 90 in the Official World Golf Ranking after signing with Titleist.

Titleist irons were played a total of 1829 times this season, compared to 1245 for the nearest competitor.

This year also saw the launch of SM10 Vokey Design Wedges which were debuted by players at the Dubai Invitational in January.

David Ravetto (D+D Real Czech Masters), Byeong Hun An (Genesis Championship) and Manassero (Jonsson Workwear Open), were amongst those who relied on the spin and versatility of their SM10 Vokey Wedges as they all added their names into the 2024 winner’s circle.

Alongside being the most played wedge throughout the season with 47% of the season count (nearest competitor 20%), Vokey also earned three major titles (The Masters, PGA Championship and Open Championship), with the victors all gaming at least two Vokey Design Wedges as they etched their names into the history books.

It is not just on the DP World Tour where the brand has had such success. On the PGA Tour, Titleist was the most played ball (70%) driver (37%), hybrid (42%), utility iron (52%), irons (32%) and wedge (54%), as more players gamed Titleist equipment over the course of the 2024 FedEx Cup season than any competitor.

Liam McDougall, Titleist Director Tour Promotions, said: “It has been another fantastic year for the Titleist brand on the DP World Tour, where we have seen an abundance of players trusting in our world-leading products on the biggest stage.

“The launch of GT metals and SM10 wedges have really spearheaded the momentum across all our product categories, where we have seen an impressive number of wins this season, both from our staff and non-contracted players - who continue to reach out and have success playing Titleist.

“A lot of our growth is down to the outstanding work of our Titleist R&D teams, who are constantly making breakthroughs in construction, material and design.

“It then becomes our job to provide the best possible service to players week-in, week-out so the world’s best are able go out onto the golf course, knowing that their equipment is going to perform.

“The work doesn’t stop here, we tee off the new 2024/25 DP World Tour season this week in Australia and alongside the launch of the all-new Pro V1 early next year, we look forward to continuing to lead from the front with passion, quality and excellence, which is what sets Titleist apart.”
