The 2024 PGA Champion gamed a pair of Vokey Design wedges in earning his first major title, including the WedgeWorks 60-degree Low Bounce K lob wedge he used for the tournament-clinching up and down on the 72nd hole.
The champion, who also carries a NEW Vokey SM10 56.10S sand wedge, was a perfect five-for-five in Sand Saves (100%/T1) and 10-for-12 in Scrambling (83%/3rd).
This week in Valhalla, half (223) of the gap, sand and lob wedges in play were Vokey Design, compared to 67 for the nearest competitor.
The 2024 Masters champion brought three Vokey wedges to the winner’s circle (SM8 50.12F gap wedge, 56.14F sand wedge and SM9 WedgeWorks 60T lob wedge). Reigning Open Champion Brian Harman also played three Vokeys (SM9 50.08F, 54.08M, 60.04L), while Wyndham Clark carried a set of four (SM9 46.10F, 52.12F, 56.10S, WedgeWorks 60A) in winning last year’s U.S. Open.
Titleist Staff Professional Braden Shattuck, playing a Pro V1 Left Dot golf ball and full bag of Titleist equipment, shot rounds of 71-70-68-74 (1 under) to finish the week as the Low PGA Professional. Shattuck, the PGA Director of Instruction at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Pa., used his Scotty Cameron GOLO 6 tour prototype putter to put on the week’s best putting performance, leading the field with more 10 strokes gained on the greens (+10.203). The 2023 PGA Professional Championship winner was the only PGA pro to finish under par at Valhalla.

The winner of the LPGA’s Mizuho Americas Open gamed a Vokey Design SM9 WedgeWorks 58T lob wedge and a Scotty Cameron Squareback 2 tour prototype putter en route to her sixth victory of the year. Entering the week, the world No. 1 was ranked second on tour in Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green (+0.66) and ninth in Putts per GIR (1.74) among those players with a minimum of 10 rounds played this season.
Alexandra Forsterling (Pro V1) made birdie on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff to capture her fourth LET title. Forsterling made a birdie-3 on her 72nd hole to shoot a final round 67 and post 12 under, forcing extra holes. She then traded birdies with her opponent on the first playoff hole before making her third straight 3 on the 18th hole to clinch the victory on home soil, her second LET win of the season.
Playing a Pro V1 golf ball, the winner of the AdventHealth Championship holed out for eagle on the 72nd hole and made birdie on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to take the title. The champion, who switched to a Pro V1 at the start of the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour season having played a competitive brand for years, jarred his 83-yard approach on the par-5 18th hole to set the clubhouse lead at 19 under. His hole-out put the finishing touches on a 65-66 weekend, which was tied for the low total over the final two rounds. When Tanner Gore (Pro V1) matched his 72-hole total, the two went back to the 18th tee. A birdie-4 officially crowned the champion.
