PGA TOUR | Zurich Classic of New Orleans

Last week at the RBC Heritage, the world’s second-ranked player put a new Vokey Design lob wedge in play, making the move from a competitive model.

On Sunday at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, he used the wedge – a  Vokey SM10 WedgeWorks 58.06K (bent to 59 degrees) – to help his team get up-and-down for birdie on the 72nd hole to force a playoff and ultimately claim the title.

Faced with a dangerous pitch left of the green on the par-5 18th, he pulled his Vokey lob wedge and hit it to 3 feet for the lead-tying birdie in Sunday’s alternate-shot format.

On the first playoff hole, the World No. 2 also used his Vokey 58.06K from a front bunker, setting up the tournament-winning par.
