• Titleist Brand Ambassador Connor McKinney broke through for his first PGA Tour of Australasia win, cruising to a four-shot victory in wire-to-wire fashion. 

• McKinney’s week — which began with a bogey-free 9-under 63 — was highlighted by a four-hole stretch between Rounds 3 and 4 that he played in 6 under. The 23-year-old aced the par-3 17th hole and birdied the 18th on Saturday before beginning the final round with a birdie and another eagle, opening up a lead that he never let go.  

• McKinney was one of 115 players (80%) this week teeing up the #1 ball in golf, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 15 (10%). 

• Titleist was also the most played driver, trusted by 69 players (48%). 

Event: Jones Cup Invitational (Ocean Forest Golf Club) 

Winner’s golf ball: Pro V1 

• Gaming a Pro V1 golf ball, the winner of the Jones Cup Invitational posted rounds of 69-69, playing his final nine in 3-under 33 to finish the tournament at 6 under and win by two shots. 

• He was the only player to shoot two sub-70 rounds, after the tournament was shortened to 36 holes due to fog delays. 

• The champion led a 1-2-3 finish for Titleist golf ball players on Sea Island, while seven of the top-8 finishers gamed a Pro V1 or Pro V1x.

• Titleist Brand Ambassador Richard T. Lee captured a 5-shot victory, comfortably securing his spot in LIV Golf League for 2026. The 35-year-old Canadian made six birdies on Sunday to take the top spot.  

• Also earning exemptions into the league for this upcoming season were Bjorn Hellgren (Pro V1x) and the third-place finisher (Pro V1), as all three qualifiers played a Titleist golf ball. 

• In addition to his Pro V1 golf ball, this week’s third-place finisher and former U.S. Ryder Cupper was also gaming his GT3 driver, T250 4-iron, full set of Vokey SM10 wedges and Scotty Cameron putter.
