- Having made the switch to a Titleist golf ball, GT driver and Vokey wedges in early 2025, the RSM Classic champion capped off his breakthrough season on the PGA TOUR with victory No. 1.
- The 27-year-old posted rounds of 66-62-65-66 to earn the one-shot victory and finish atop the FedExFall Standings at No. 51 overall.
- The winner finished the week with over five strokes (+5.271/9th) gained tee to green, balancing his performance with +1.725 (20th) off the tee, +2.268 (21st) on approach shots and +1.275 (19th) around the green.
Since his switch to a Titleist golf ball early this season, the 2025 RSM Classic champion has become a top-20 approach player on the PGA TOUR:
- While playing a competitor’s golf ball, he ended the 2024 PGA TOUR season at 112th (-0.036) in Strokes Gained: Approach. He played the same golf ball for his first three starts of 2025, ranking 160th (-0.700) during that stretch.
- In his fourth start of ‘25 (Mexico Open), he made the switch to a Titleist golf ball for the first time, putting a Titleist Pro V1x+ prototype in play. That week marked the first of a career-best seven consecutive made cuts on the PGA TOUR.
- During that stretch, he moved into the 2025 Pro V1x model at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, where he posted a final-round 62 to finish fourth.
- Over the 23 events he gamed a Titleist golf ball in 2025, he totaled one win, four top-10's and nine top-25 finishes.
- His approach play now ranks among the TOUR’s best. With the RSM trophy in hand, he finished the season 18th in Strokes Gained: Approach (+0.516), jumping 94 spots in that statistic from 2024 (-0.036).
- He jumped an even 100 spots in Greens in Regulation, going from 147th in 2024 (65.09%) to 47th this season (69.02%).
- The RSM Champ also added five Titleist golf clubs to the bag this season. The same week he teed up a Titleist golf ball for the first time, he also switched from competitor’s models into four new Vokey SM10 wedges. In Houston, he switched from a competitor’s driver into a Titleist GT3.
- The 2024 U.S. Amateur champion broke through for his first professional victory, closing with a bogey-free 6-under 65 to win by three.
At the conclusion of the 2025 Asian Tour season, Scott Vincent (Pro V1) finished atop the International Series Rankings. Vincent, who won the International Series Morocco in July, and runner-up Yosuke Asaji (Pro V1) earned the two spots up for grabs in the LIV Golf League via the International Series Rankings pathway.

- John's victory, highlighted by two final-round eagles, marks his second career PGA Tour of Australasia title.
- The champion led a 1-2-3 finish for Titleist golf ball players, with a total of 88 players (73%) teeing up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball this week in Queensland.

- 17-year-old Yanhan Zhou prevailed in a playoff, earning his sixth win of 2025 and becoming the first 10-time winner in China Tour history.
- Zhou carded rounds of 69-67-66-65 to post 21 under for the week, matching the total of Bo Jin (Pro V1x).
- Zhou rolled in his Pro V1x for birdie on the first extra hole to make it back-to-back victories for the teenager.
- Nine of the 11 players who finished inside the top 10 and ties played a Titleist golf ball, as did 87% of the field overall.
