The world’s top-ranked amateur, Jackson Koivun, spearheaded the U.S. to victory at The 50th Walker Cup, securing a 3-and-2 win in Sunday afternoon’s lead-off singles match en route to a 17-9 win for the Americans.
Koivun – gaming a Pro V1 golf ball and all-Titleist setup that includes his GT2 driver, NEW T-Series long irons, Vokey SM10 wedges and Scotty Cameron Phantom 9 putter – won both of his singles matches over the weekend at Cypress Point. In his 4-and-3 singles victory on Sunday, he played the 15 holes in 7 under par.
In Sunday morning foursomes, Koivun and his partner – who was also playing a Pro V1 golf ball, GT3 driver, Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron putter – came from 2 holes down with three to play to win the match, 1 up, on the 18th hole, with Koivun holing a slick 4-footer for the victory.

Koivun, who has already earned his PGA TOUR card via the PGA TOUR University Accelerated program, was among the overwhelming majority of Walker Cuppers (18 of 20) playing a Titleist golf ball this week at Cypress Point, with nine of 10 players on each team (90%) trusting a Pro V1, Pro V1x or Pro V1x Left Dash golf ball.
Eight of the top 10 players in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (including all of the top six) teed it up this weekend on the Monterey Peninsula – and all eight of them trusted the #1ballingolf.
• Titleist drivers were also the top choice of this elite amateur group, with 11 players (55%) gaming a Titleist off the tee, including five of the WAGR’s top six. Ten of them were GT2 or GT3 models.
• Titleist was the most trusted iron among this year’s Walker Cup selections, with eight (40%) iron sets in play.
• Half of the field (10 players) played a Scotty Cameron putter, including five Phantom mallets and Studio Style Fastback 1.5 and Newport 2 Plus models.
Taiga Nagano (Pro V1x) broke through for his first career victory on the JGTO, making five birdies over his closing nine holes en route to a final-round 66 and a 15-under total. The 26-year-old pulled away from a tightly bunched leaderboard Sunday to win by two shots and vault inside the top 25 of the season’s money list.
Including Nagano’s win this week, Titleist golf ball players have won 71% of events played on the JGTO so far in 2025.
The winner of the LOPIA Fujisankei Classic added five NEW T100 irons to his bag this week, making the switch from competitive models before claiming his breakthrough JGTO victory. The champion, who already had T100 4 and 5 irons in the bag, filled out the set with NEW T100 6-P irons after seeing improved distance control.
Gaming his GT2 10.0 driver, the LOPIA Fujisankei Classic champion topped a leaderboard that featured five GT driver players in the top 10, with more competitors using Titleist drivers this week (42 players/35%) than any other brand. It’s the fifth win for GT drivers this season on the JGTO.

Doyeob Mun (Pro V1x) closed in 8-under 62 to earn his second KPGA title of the season – and fifth of his career. Mun went low over the weekend, having carded a 63 on Saturday to build a comfortable lead entering Sunday. A nine-birdie final round saw him reach 26 under for the week, four clear of second place.
The winner of the KPGA Founders Cup brought three Vokey SM10 wedges to the winner’s circle: 46.10F, 52.08F, WedgeWorks 58L. He was also gaming a GT2 18.0 fairway.
Titleist Brand Ambassador Austin Bautista – playing a Pro V1 golf ball, GT3 driver, T100 irons, Vokey SM10 wedges and a Scotty Cameron Phantom 9.2 putter among his all-Titleist setup – closed with the lowest round of the tournament to secure his first Sunshine Tour victory. His final-round 62 began with five birdies over the first eight holes, followed by four more on the back nine, propelling the 29-year-old Australian from three shots behind to a one-stroke victory.

Hyunjo Yoo (Pro V1) successfully defended her KB Financial Star Championship crown, rolling her Pro V1 in for birdie on the final hole to win by four shots. Yoo, who climbed to first in the Player of the Year points standings now, also leads the tour with a 69.70 scoring average.
The winner of the KB Financial Group STAR Championship brought three Vokey SM10 wedges to the winner’s circle: 50.12F, 54.14F, 58.06K.
Nuria Iturrioz (Pro V1x) shot rounds of 68-67-68 to win by two shots in Texas, closing out her fifth career LET title. The 29-year-old Spaniard was clutch down the stretch, making key birdies on Nos. 14, 15 and 17 to reach 13 under for the week.
The winner of the Aramco Houston Championship claimed victory gaming a setup that included NEW T150 and T100 irons, Vokey wedges and a Scotty Cameron Squareback 2 putter.
