Calm and consistent under major pressure, Maja Stark (Pro V1) claimed her first career major championship title Sunday over a demanding U.S. Women’s Open setup. The 25-year-old Swede entered the final round at Erin Hills with a one-shot lead before carding an even par round of 72 to finish 7 under and win by two.
Stark was in full control of her ballstriking, gaining +6.72 shots on the field with her approach play (4th) over the 72 holes. She hit 54 of 72 greens in regulation (75%/T8) and converted 16 birdies (T3).
Stark was one of 102 players who teed up a Titleist golf ball this week in Wisconsin, six times the nearest competitor (17).
The winner of the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open added a Vokey Design SM10 WedgeWorks 58L lob wedge to her bag at the start of the week before taking home her first career major title on Sunday. She gained +1.56 strokes on the field around the greens (20th) and got up-and-down from the sand on three of four attempts (75%/T3).
Vokey Design was the most played wedge among competitors at the U.S. Women’s Open with 169 gap, sand and lob wedges in play.
The world’s top-ranked amateur earned low amateur honors this week at Erin Hills playing a NEW 2025 Pro V1 golf ball and Titleist setup that includes her TSR3 driver, T150 irons and Vokey Design SM10 wedges. With the finish, the 2024 Augusta National Women’s Amateur champion and rising Florida State senior earned the 17th of 20 points needed to earn her LPGA card through the Elite Amateur Pathway program.
Gaming a NEW Pro V1 and full bag of Titleist equipment, Kiara Romero, a rising junior at the University of Oregon, posted both Sunday’s low round and the lowest final round by an amateur in the tournament’s history with a 5-under 67.
The top four amateur finishers all played a Titleist golf ball, while three of the four played Titleist drivers, irons and wedges.
Gaining over 15 strokes from tee to green this week at Muirfield Village, the World No. 1 closed out his 16th PGA TOUR victory Sunday at The Memorial gaming his Titleist Pro V1 golf ball and three Vokey Design wedges.
The Memorial champion – who has used a Pro V1 golf ball and Vokey gap, sand and wedges to win each of his 16 PGA TOUR titles, including two Masters and a PGA Championship – posted rounds of 70-70-68-70 to finish at 10 under and win by four shots.
In complete control of his Pro V1, the champ ran away from the field with +15.540 strokes gained tee to green, with over 11.5 of them coming on approach shots (+7.263/2nd) and (+4.343/3rd) around the green. He also led the field in Scrambling (78.26%).
In addition to his Pro V1 golf ball, The Memorial champion brought three Vokey Design wedges to the winner’s circle: Vokey Design SM8 50.12F, 56.14F and SM10 60.06K.
The latest addition to the World No. 1’s short game setup is the SM10 60.06K lob wedge he put in play recently at the CJ CUP. He has now won three of his first four events with the new lob wedge, which features the same Low Bounce K Grind with which he used to win the 2022 Masters.
He moved from the K Grind to a T Grind in late 2022, using the T to win nine times including his second Masters title in 2024.
The SM10 60.06K Grind that’s now in the bag features a wider sole that excels from the bunkers but still delivers the greenside versatility of a low bounce wedge.
“The 6-degree K Grind lives in the bags of some of the world’s best,” said Vokey Tour Representative Aaron Dill. “It has always been known as the ultimate bunker club. However, when you ask players on tour why they play the .06K Grind, they will tell you not only do they love the performance in the bunkers, but they love the way the leading edge hugs the ground when pitching and chipping.”
This week, he led the field in Scrambling (78.26%) while ranking third (+4.343/3rd) in SG: Around the Green.
The overwhelming #1 ball at the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Championship was also the choice of the individual champion and every player on the title-winning team this week at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.
Of the 156 players who teed it up in last Friday’s first round of stroke play chasing college golf history, 138 (88%) of them put their trust in the #1 ball in golf, more than 17 times the nearest competitor with 8 (5%).
Titleist was also the most played driver (44%), iron (47%), wedge (51%) and putter (31%) among the elite amateur field.
Crowned after 72 holes of stroke play, the individual champion, playing a Pro V1 golf ball, led a 1-2-3-4-5-6 finish for Titleist golf ball players, with 11 of the top 12 individual finishers gaming a Pro V1 or Pro V1x.
In Wednesday's championship match, all 10 players across both teams teed up the #1 ball in golf – with each of the five players on the National Champions trusting a NEW 2025 Pro V1 model to bring home their program's 12th NCAA men's golf title.
Three of the five players on the winning team also gamed a Titleist driver, iron set and Vokey Design SM10 wedges. Two played a Scotty Cameron putter.
Titleist Brand Ambassador Nicolai von Dellingshausen earned a breakthrough win on the DP World Tour, carding four rounds of 66 of lower (65-66-65-65) to post 19 under and win by two in Austria. Von Dellingshausen’s all-Titleist setup included his NEW 2025 Pro V1x golf ball, GT3 driver, blended set of T150 and T100 irons, Vokey SM10 wedges and Scotty Cameron Phantom putter.
The 32-year-old German remained steady with the lead down the stretch, going bogey-free over his final 12 holes. He only dropped four shots all week, which were offset by two eagles.
Key to von Dellingshausen’s victory was his play with his Scotty Cameron Phantom 9.5 tour prototype putter, which helped him to lead the field in Strokes Gained: Putting (+12.92).

The 28-year-old was in full control of his ballstriking, hitting 57 of 72 greens in regulation (79%, T6).

Akutsa’s setup included his NEW 2025 Pro V1x golf ball and NEW GT1 driver, along with a GT1 hybrid, blended set of T200 and 620 CB irons, Vokey Design wedges and Scotty Cameron putter. The 30-year-old – who was one of just 16 players to break par on Sunday – shot rounds of 67-69-68-71 to post 13 under for the week at the JFE Setonaikai Golf Club.
With his victory, Akutsa locked up a spot in the field at Royal Portrush for the 153rd Open Championship.

Mitchell made birdie on his second trip around the par-5 18th to close out the title.

The lone change to Mitchell’s setup this week was with his 4-iron. Titleist Tour Rep Rudy Mertz made a shaft change (Mitsubishi MMT Hybrid 90 TX) to give Mitchell more launch, spin and ball speed, and the new 620 CB 4-iron setup went right in the bag.
Yunji Jeong (NEW 2025 Pro V1) went wire-to-wire, claiming her second career KLPGA victory. Jeong began the week with rounds of 64-65 to open up a four-shot lead heading into Sunday. A 2-under round of 70 saw her reach 17 under and win by one.
