The NCAA Division I Women’s Regional championships took place this week, with 344 players across the six regional sites teeing up a Titleist golf ball. The total represents 87 percent of all competitors and is more than 12 times the nearest competitor’s total.
Among the 344 were the individual winners of each of the six sites, with four trusting Pro V1x and two trusting Pro V1.
That included Anna Davis, who took home the Arizona Regional gaming her Pro V1x golf ball and full set of Titleist equipment:
Across the six sites, Titleist was also most played driver (38%), fairway (32%), hybrid (31%), utility (89%), iron (35%) and wedge (51%). Four of the six individual champions gamed a full set of three Vokey Design wedges, while three played Titleist drivers and Titleist irons.
Jiyai Shin (Pro V1) made birdie on the first playoff to claim her 30th JLPGA title. She now stands alone as the seventh winningest player in JLPGA history.
