DP WORLD TOUR | Hero Dubai Desert Classic 

Gaming his Pro V1x golf ball, the winner of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic claimed his fifth Rolex Series title with a one-shot win at Emirates GC. On Sunday, he closed in 3-under 69, making a clutch birdie on the par-4 16th to reach the eventual winning total of 15 under. The 33-year-old Ryder Cupper, whose victory today also marked his eighth career DPWT win in his 200th career DPWT start, also led a 1-2-3 finish for Titleist golf ball players:

  • Laurie Canter (NEW 2025 Pro V1) 

 

Over four rounds in Dubai, the winner led the field in Greens in Regulation, hitting 81 percent. He ranked 3rd in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green (+11.52), with six of those strokes coming off the tee (+6.00, 4th) and over four coming from his approach play (+4.04, 15th). 


MOMENTUM FOR 2025 PRO V1 AND PRO V1x CONTINUES ON DPWT 

At the first event of 2025 on the DP World Tour, 32 players teed up a NEW 2025 Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, with 29 of those players moving into the new models for the first time this week in Dubai after offseason testing. That group included runner-up Daniel Hillier (NEW 2025 Pro V1x) and third-place finisher Laurie Canter (NEW 2025 Pro V1). 


Overall, 89 players trusted a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball (71%), compared to 15 for the nearest competitor. 

  

TOP 3 FINISHERS GAME VOKEY LOB WEDGE 

Each of the top-three finishers on Sunday’s final leaderboard, and four of the top five, gamed a Vokey Design lob wedge:

KORN FERRY TOUR | The Bahamas Golf Classic 

Trusting his NEW 2025 Pro V1x golf ball, Titleist Brand Ambassador Hank Lebioda earned the first Korn Ferry Tour victory of the new season at the Bahamas Golf Classic. Lebioda, who was also gaming a NEW GT2 driver and fairway along with Titleist irons and Vokey wedges, carded a final round 4-under 66 to post 18 under. After his total was matched by fellow Brand Ambassador S.H. Kim, Lebioda closed the door after he stuck his approach to set up a tap-in birdie on the first playoff hole. The win marked his first career Korn Ferry Tour title.

AMATEUR | Latin America Amateur Championship 

The Latin America Amateur champion – playing a Pro V1x golf ball, NEW GT2 driver and fairway, T-Series irons and Vokey SM10 wedges – carded rounds of 64-72 in Saturday’s 36-hole marathon, to earn his place at the 2025 Masters Tournament, 125th U.S. Open and 153rd Open Championship.  


Leading a 1-through-8 finish for Pro V1 and Pro V1x players, the 21-year-old Cayman Islands-native finished the week at 16 under after four rounds at Pilar Golf Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina, one shot clear of second place. 


Six of the top eight finishers also gamed a Titleist driver, irons and Vokey Design wedges.

TITLEIST TOPS EQUIPMENT COUNTS AT LATIN AMERICA AMATEUR 

Titleist was the overwhelming #1 ball and most played brand in every major equipment category at the Latin America Amateur Championship, according to Darrell Survey: 


  • A total of 91 players (85%) gamed a Titleist golf ball in Argentina, more than six times the nearest competitor (14). 
  • 48 players (45%) trusted a Titleist driver, compared to 28 (26%) for the nearest competitor. 
  • There were more Titleist fairways (52, 31%), hybrids (17, 40%) and utilities (38, 76%) in play than any other brand. 
  • 42 Titleist iron sets (39%) were in players’ bags, compared to 26 (24%) for the nearest competitor. 
  • More than half the gap, sand and lob wedges in play (188, 59%) were Vokey Design wedges
  • On the greens, Scotty Cameron putters were the top choice (28, 26%). 


AMATEUR | Australian Amateur Championships 

Titleist was the overwhelming #1 ball and most played brand in every major equipment category at the Australian Men’s Amateur Championships, according to Darrell Survey: 


  • A total of 189 players (84%) gamed a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than 12 times the nearest competitor (15). 
  • 105 players (47%) trusted a Titleist driver, more than double the nearest competitor (45, 20%). 
  • There were more Titleist fairways (105, 44%), hybrids (14, 45%) and utilities (113, 62%) in play than any other brand. 
  • Titleist iron sets were the choice of 109 players (48%), more than four times the nearest competitor (27, 12%). 
  • There were 427 Vokey Design gap, sand and lob wedges in play (64%), compared to 54 (8%) for the nearest competitor. 
  • On the greens, there were 81 Scotty Cameron putters (36%), compared to 65 (29%) for the nearest competitor. 

At the Australian Women’s Amateur Championship


  • Sixty-two players (71%) at the Australian Women’s Amateur teed up a Titleist golf ball. 
  • 33 players gamed a Titleist driver (T1, 38%).  
  • Titleist was the most played hybrid (44%), utility (96%), iron (41%), wedge (50%) and putter (41%).
