Locked in with his Pro V1x golf ball, John Parry played his final seven holes in 6 under par Sunday, posting a back-nine 30 on his way to a closing 8-under 64 and his second DPWT victory.
Having started the day five shots off the lead, Parry began his sprint to the clubhouse with an eagle on the par-5 12th before birdies on 13, 14, 16 and 18 to claim the eventual two-shot victory.
From tee to green, Parry gained +2.42 strokes per round (2nd), while leading the field in SG: Around the Green (+1.28 per round) and going a perfect 4-for-4 in sand saves. He also gained +1.04 on approach shots (11th).
Champion John Parry and every player in the final top 12 played a Titleist golf ball this week in Mauritius, with 20 of the top 21 finishers also trusting a Pro V1 and Pro V1x.
In total, 80 percent (125) of the field teed up a Titleist in Mauritius, more than seven times the nearest competitor (16/10%).
Bernhard Langer (Pro V1x) and his son captured the PNC Championship in a playoff, making eagle on the par-5 18th to take the title. The duo shot rounds of 59-57 in the scramble format, posting 28 under for the weekend.
