KIZZIRE ON HIS PRO V1

- “It’s soft on the green, soft on the putter and the wedge and flies great through the wind. You never want to be hitting a tee shot into the wind and feel like you’ve got to do something a little different. This ball is so stable, I feel like I can just hit my shot and just trust it and it flies through the wind, and in the crosswinds it just holds really nice.”

- “I have such a greater appreciation for what goes into making the Titleist golf ball (after taking a tour of Titleist Ball Plant 3 in New Bedford, Mass). It starts from scratch, and we get these beautiful, perfectly round, seamless, white Titleist golf balls. I would say that if you really want to appreciate how good your Titleist golf ball is, you have to go through the plant, because they're so precise with every little detail, you can't even believe it until you see it.”

KIZZIRE WINS WITH NEW GT3 DRIVER

Patton Kizzire’s victory comes in the seventh start since adding his NEW Titleist GT3 9.0 driver (Fujikura Motore X F1 6 X) to the bag. Kizzire made the immediate move to GT3 from his TSR3 driver at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, his first start since the models launched on TOUR.

Overall, 61 players (42%) had a Titleist driver in the bag this week in Napa, with 47 of those drivers being NEW GT models. The nearest competitor had 34 drivers in play.

KIZZIRE WINS WITH FOUR DIFFERENT IRON MODELS IN THE BAG

Patton Kizzire’s blended iron set features four different iron models: T200 3-4 irons, T100 5-iron, 620 CB 6-iron, 620 MB 7-9 irons (all with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts).

Of the Titleist Brand Ambassadors currently playing on the PGA TOUR, approximately 80 percent are playing blended sets of at least two Titleist iron models, demonstrating the importance of custom fitting and optimization throughout the bag.

For the week, Kizzire gained 3.454 strokes on the field with his approach play (15th).

KIZZIRE LEADS IN SCRAMBLING WITH VOKEY SM10 WEDGES

LPGA | Solheim Cup

Facing a critical 104-yard approach into the 18th hole, Lilia Vu flighted her Pro V1x golf ball to perfection, setting up the tap-in birdie that clinched the Solheim Cup for Team U.S.A. Sunday in Virginia. Vu’s final approach left no doubt, landing perfectly on line before checking up and finishing just a couple feet from the hole. She birdied both the 17th and 18th to halve her singles match, earning the final ½-point the United States needed to win the Cup.

Vu was one of 17 players who played a Titleist golf ball this week at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club (8 on Team U.S.A. and 9 on Team Europe) more than five times the nearest competitor with three.

PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS | Sanford International

Steve Stricker (Pro V1x) prevailed on the fourth hole of a playoff, making it three consecutive wins for Stricker at the Sanford International. Stricker shot rounds of 67-68-67 to post 8 under, matching the 54-hole total of Richard Green (Pro V1). After the two matched each other for three straight holes, Stricker broke the deadlock with a winning birdie on the fourth playoff hole. The win is his 18th on the PGA Tour Champions.

KORN FERRY TOUR | Simmons Bank Open

Paul Peterson (Pro V1x) closed in 4-under 66 to win his first career Korn Ferry Tour title and put himself in position to earn a PGA TOUR card for 2025. Peterson, who made 25 birdies for the week, opened with rounds of 64-63 to lead by one going into the weekend. Peterson followed with weekend rounds of 67-66 to reach 20 under, good for a one-shot win.

After entering the week at No. 51 on the KFT Points List, Peterson jumps to No. 15 with just two events remaining on the schedule. The top 30 players earn PGA TOUR cards for 2025.

SIMMONS BANK OPEN CHAMPION WINS WITH VOKEY
