Titleist Tour Report: 09.01.24

PGA TOUR | TOUR Championship

Playing his Pro V1 golf ball and three Vokey Design wedges, the world’s top-ranked player closed out the 2024 FedExCup campaign with a four-shot victory at the TOUR Championship, securing the FedExCup with his seventh PGA TOUR title of the season.

The victory also marked win No. 28 this season for Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x players on the PGA TOUR, more than five times the nearest competitor (5).

The FedExCup champion, who posted rounds of 65-66-66-67 over the four days at East Lake Golf Club, led the field in Greens in Regulation (75%) – including Sunday’s approach to the 236-yard par-3 9th, which left him just 5 feet, 2 inches for a birdie that propelled him to play his final 10 holes in 5 under par. He gained more than four strokes on the field on approach shots (+4.005/3rd).

The World No. 1 – who leads the PGA TOUR in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green, SG: Approach, Greens in Regulation and is seventh in Scrambling – topped a leaderboard that featured six Titleist golf ball players in the top eight positions:

1. FedExCup Champion: Pro V1
